Offering a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus

Provides psychiatric nursing care and clinical oversight within the Co-Occurring Enhanced Residential Program in North Adams and the Adult Community Crisis Stabilization Unit in Pittsfield. 

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, administering and monitoring medications, providing health education, and supervising residents in daily living activities. The RN will also oversee the general health care of residential clients, support staff through training and guidance, and help enhance the overall quality of care and services provided to both residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Sound knowledge of normal personality growth and development
• Knowledge and experience in crisis intervention
• Knowledge and skill in the use of psychotropic medications
• Experience in case coordination, with 1.) Ability to objectively assess clients and advocate for needed treatment, 2.) Effectively work with local physicians and their staff and 3.) Oversee implementation of medical recommendations

• Experience in sharing skills with staff and clients
• Ability and propensity to work with a diverse population with a range of psychiatric disabilities
• Ability to interact with clients in a consistent empowering manner
• Possess and maintain the Healthcare Provider (BLS) level of CPR or obtain within the first 5 months of employment
