Essential Job Functions:
Direct Care
- Completes a comprehensive and age-appropriate behavioral health assessment and treatment plan.
- Delivers intensive family therapy on an outreach basis as part of the FIT team.
- Assesses safety needs, develops safety plans and monitors safety on an ongoing basis.
- Monitors progress on attainment of treatment plan goals and objectives.
- Provides coaching and support in decision making to the youth/family.
- Coordinates and communicates with all collaterals.
- Maintains contact with the family 3-5 times per week.
- Offers and delivers services in the home, community, schools, day care, foster homes, and other community settings.
- Completes all required documentation in accordance with agency policy and performance specifications.
Administrative Duties
- Supervises team of FIT Clinicians, FIT Care Coordinators, and FIT Family Partners.
- Develops and implements CSA/FIT program concepts and services.
- Provides administrative oversight of productivity and budget issues.
- Completes reports for use by management, funding agencies and others in a timely manner.
- Maintains linkages and working relationships with other youth serving providers.
Qualifications, Experience and Education:
- LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT
- Minimum five years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Minimum one-year supervisory experience.
- Crisis intervention training preferred.
- Strong knowledge and experience with diagnostic and treatment procedures.
- Ability to work mandatory on call rotation.
- Strong knowledge of community mental health systems and community resources.
- Excellent oral and presentation skills
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Ability to delegate effectively.
- Strong knowledge of computers.
- Ability to respond to program scheduling needs on a flexible basis.
- Valid US driver’s license.
- Ability to use personal insured automobile.
